I finished this quilt. I told my grand daughter, Kameren, that she could take it to college with her. She is in the eighth grade. She said, "well, that's a long time away." If only she knew it is just the blink of an eye. I especially liked the striped binding on the quilt. I have to remember to use that more often.
I also finished the pillow my sister-in-law, Marilyn, did for me. She does such beautiful work. It is needlepoint. I have some of her other needlepoint hanging in my kitchen.
