Sofie was born yesterday at 4:02 in the afternoon. She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz. She is beautiful and has blue eyes and a full head of brown hair. Both Mom and baby are doing fine. I drove down to see her in the hospital and held her every moment I could. I took my two sweaters with me. By the way, Sofie's middle name is Margaret because she has two Grandma Peggy's.
