Knock on Wood

Last Tuesday while we were at water aerobics, Janet made a prediction. "We won't have any big snowstorms this year." As soon as she said it we all let out a moan and remarked that, in the pool, there was no way to knock on wood. Of course the very next weekend we had a monster of a snowstorm.  I went to water aerobics this morning and as soon as Janet came in, she said , "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
