The Deadly Rotary Cutter
Is there a quilter that hasn't slipped with the rotary cutter. I know of several nasty incidents. Mine have been relatively minor. My friend, Donna, dropped one on her foot. At least mine closes if I am not using it. Blood on a quilt used to be limited to needle pricks .
Ouch! I own a rotary cutter, but I haven't used it in years. I don't think it really saves me much time and in my Luddite way I prefer using scissors. Ditto for my sewing machine...gathering dust.
I am a retired electrical engineer. I am the 5th generation to live in Detroit. My hubby, dad, brother, uncles and cousins and I all worked for the auto industry. I hate to cook! I like anything to do with a needle, not for shooting up but for pulling thread. Two of my daughters have a blog and I decided I wanted one too. My hubby said no one would read it.
