I have the quilt I made from the McCall kit on the quilting frame. I was angry with McCall magazine because they took several months installments to give the directions on making the quilt but you couldn't get the scalloped material unless you bought the kit. They did the same thing a few months later with the same scallop material on a different quilt. They must have got the material from a different project that the company had. The piece of material had not only the scallops but other parts which we didn't use and had labels like top, bottom, etc. It is only a twin which means I can have the quilt frame up in the doll house room instead of the living room. That really takes the pressure off. Of course quilting sure took the finish off my New York manicure.
