Progress on the Leaf Quilt

Carole was over yesterday and we worked on our leaf quilts. Progress is slow as we only work on the
m on Friday.  The quilt is called Third weekend in October. Last week Carole took all the fabric home and folded and organized it.  She likes to do that, I am more the wad up my fabrics. Every
time we meet she has bought more fabric.

That's really lovely. I would like to make a quilt like that, but I haven't even managed to get started on a simple nine-patch kit that I bought three years ago. Too many crafts, too little time. Still, I'm going to look for that pattern. I know I have some batiks that would work really well in that.

Carole is a gal after my own heart. I have too much fabric, and I like it to be tidy. (Did you notice that cute fat quarter bundle behind my sewing machine? I love those little stacks of batik!)

I think that quilt is beautiful! What size is it going to be? Would you like to give it to your child that reads your blog the most? (That would be me!)
