Keeping Up With the Grandchildren

Yesterday we took the grandchildren to the Henry Ford Museum because it was Macy's 2nd Monday. You would be surprised how fast kids can travel through a museum. After lunch at the Wienermobile Cafe we headed out to the petting farm at Domino Farms. That is the best petting farm ever. The kids fed carrots to the goats and cows. (but not pigs, donkeys, or horses, because they have teeth) They had a hay ride and saw baby horses, calves, goats, chickens and piglets. It was a great time.
Today we took them to the zoo. The animals were mostly out and visible. For the first time I actually saw a wolverine. The kids were puzzled as Hubby and I sang the Michigan fight song for it. A polar bear was laying on top of the glass tunnel so we were really up close and personal with it. After supper, Martha put a movie on for them but Kameren fell asleep. I will leave her in the armchair until it is time for Keegan to go to bed. Every night when I finish tucking them into bed and turn out their light I find Papa is already sound asleep in bed.
